Traditionally

Large complex programs require multi-disciplined staffs to manage all aspects of project execution including environmental permitting, engineering and project management skills.

Many manufacturing firms normally do not carry staff to support the execution of large complex programs and rely on either A&E, Program Management or General Contracting firms to externally manage the project throughout it's life cycle

The "Embedded Team" - A Better Approach

Establishment of an in-house "embedded" team of resources to effectively manage internally all phases of the program for the customer enabling existing staff to stay focused on day to day operations.

The team typically includes project expertise from PSE, the customer as well as any other key stakeholders and is led by one of our senior program managers who reports directly to the owner's management team.

A comprehensive project execution plan complete with work activities, deliverables and go-no-go decision points is used as a tool to measure the performance of the team and communicate the status of the project.

Staffing is flexible to the needs of the individual program phases and resources roll in and out as needed staying with the program only as long as required.

Benefits of This Approach:

 - Improved cost control

 - Immediate feedback and access to information

 - Greater control of key program decisions

 - More flexibility to make program changes

 - Reduced overall program cost

 - Continuity of existing corporate culture
